Rebranding Campaign

As mentioned in the Action Plan on Modern Logistics Development promulgated in October 2023, the Government will collaborate with the LOGSCOUNCIL, industry associations, tertiary and training institutions to rebrand the modern logistics industry as “Smart, Innovative, High-end” through strengthening publicity and promotional activities, with a view to attracting more young people to join the industry.

A job shadowing scheme has been launched in collaboration with the non-government organisation and the logistics companies to provide placements for the secondary school students in different logistics sectors

The social media channels (including Instagram, X and YouTube) for the Logistics Industry, “Logi-Go!”, were launched in September 2024 to disseminate lively and interesting logistics-related information to the public

The Awards is an annual award for the logistics industry advocated by the HKSAR Government in the Action Plan on Modern Logistics Development. It aims to recognise and encourage young talents in the logistics industry who have made significant achievements and shown remarkable potential in innovative, high-end, smart and green logistics


Internship Scheme on Modern Logistics

Internship Scheme on Modern Logistics

Provides sponsorship of up to 75% of each intern’s monthly honorarium (capped at HK$7,500 per intern per month) for a maximum period of three months to eligible logistics companies to offer internship placements to full-time students undertaking undergraduate or sub-degree or diploma programmes in tertiary or training institutions in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong
