The Secretary for Economic Development and Labour and Chairman of the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, Mr Stephen Ip, led a logistics promotion mission to central Europe. Following the first stop at Slovakia, the delegation proceeded to Hungary for a two-day visit. Delegates took part in a round-table luncheon on investment opportunities in Hong Kong and had meetings with representatives of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency, National Development Agency and Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists. They also called on the Chinese Ambassador to Hungary, Mr Zhang Chunxiang, and the Minister of Economy and Transport, Dr Janos Koka.
